A night at the Berliner Philharmonie: the Keller-Quartett of Budapest played the Art of Fuge by Bach. The concerto ended abruptly with the famous 14th fuge which Bach left incomplete until he died. Looking up to the ceiling my thoughts wandered around my life.

Locked Up On Tucholsky.

Walking across shaky Tucholskybrücke I noticed these locks on the railing in the middle of the bridge. I have no clue what these might be used for. It strikes me that they all have initials or the names of two people and a date engraved. Perhaps an unknown stag party ritual?

This sign remained on the facade of Winsstrasse 57 where members of the Berlin guild of photographers were able to buy their material until WW II. Photography was rarely considered an art but declared a craft like butchering, sweeping chimneys or cutting hair.

On a field trip to Brandenburg we discovered a deserted Russian army base. Under life threating circumstances we dug into tons of journals left there to rot since 1994. One guy seemed to have made good use of his time by drawing the woman of his dreams.
